This privacy policy explains how the OMEGA Gaming Community platform handles personal data.

Data we collect

• Account information: When you register, we store your username, a hashed (unreadable) version of your password, and the date of registration.
• Profile data: Optional display name and profile picture you choose to provide.
• Forum posts and comments: Content you post publicly on the forum is stored and visible to all visitors.
• Chat messages: Live chat messages are stored temporarily in server memory and are not persisted to disk.
• Session data: A session cookie is used to keep you logged in during your visit. No tracking cookies are used.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate the community platform — enabling forum participation, member profiles, and live chat. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

Data storage

Account data is stored in a local SQLite database on the server. Passwords are stored as secure cryptographic hashes and cannot be read by administrators. Profile pictures are stored as files on the server.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting a community administrator via the forum or Discord. Posts made under your username can be deleted by yourself or by a moderator.

Cookies

This platform uses a single session cookie to maintain your login state. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are used.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
